croucherli is the work of ceramic artist lizzie croucher (she/her).
lizzie produces hand thrown pottery, specifically one-off and small batch items, with their own little personalities. her ceramics are functional, but also designed to bring smiles to faces.
lizzie lives in colchester, essex with her partner & two doggos, having been previously based in kent, london & suffolk. she works out of her DIY-built home studio/garage!
lizzie's love for ceramics began in 2010 through working weekends at a pottery painting cafe, during her professional dance training in london. after learning to throw pots in 2016 as an escape from a full time job, she spent years honing her craft alongside working as an arts project manager, and finally launched croucherli in 2019.
when lizzie's not throwing clay, she's installing exhibitions for local art galleries or doing freelance arts admin work for fellow neurodivergent creatives.
earth friendly approach
croucherli is committed to operating a consciously low waste practice, keeping the business aligned with lizzie's personal ethos.
all waste clay is recycled and made into new pieces.
any plastic bags or containers my materials arrive in are reused or recycled.
all packaging is plastic free; recyclable, dissolvable or reusable.. from packing peanuts to parcel tape!
