a creative clay session for children aged 4 - 8 years. in this session, we’ll be making & decorating a clay egg cup!
date: tuesday 8th april 2025
time: 9.30 - 10.30am
venue: the workroom @ love local, 17 school road, copford, colchester CO6 1BU
suitability: 4 - 8 years, no experience required
in the first part of the session, participants will be guided to make a small cup from a lump of clay. in the second part of the session, the cups will be bought to life - adding your own creative decoration around the cup. participants will be able to make their clay egg cup from start to finish, or there will be the option to add decoration to a pre-made clay egg cup. all tools, materials & inspiration will be provided!
at the end of the session, participants will choose from a selection of glaze colours. lizzie will take the pieces home to glaze & fire in her kiln, and finished eggcups will be ready to collect from love local within 2-3 weeks.
