join me in my home studio in colchester, essex for a 2-hour tailored, private session to learn the basics of working with clay! perfect for those who want to try their hand at the potters wheel, to learn the foundations of throwing, or just spend some quality time being creative together.

the session will include:

a short tour of my studio.

an overview of the process of making a ceramic from start to finish.

a hands-on introduction to preparing clay for throwing on the wheel.

a demonstration of throwing a cylinder on the potters wheel.

shared time at the wheel, practicing basic skills of throwing.

choosing glaze colours for your pots, which will be applied & fired after the session. your finished pieces will be ready to collect within 3-4 weeks.
